M&K 2-in, 2-out 911R muffler
I've got one of Ben's M&K 911R mufflers to sell. It's one of his later generation mufflers, has the braces welded to the bottom of the inlets, but couldn't tell you if it's Gen 3, 6 or 999. I've had it probably 3 or 4 years.
The muffler is the 911R model but has a couple of mods done to it. When Ben built it for me, I had him use 2.5" outlet tips, think 2.25" was stock. Then after I'd had it on for a few months, I changed the rear bumper on my car and had stainless oval tips welded on. The welds aren't beautiful, but they aren't seen behind the valance anyway. The muffler could use a good polishing to make it look nice again. It spent it's life on my track Carrera with a set of George's 1-5/8 headers, and spent most of the time at 5000-7000rpm so a lot of heat has burnished the stainless. But functionally it works as new. But it isn't quiet, the 911R version has great flow but makes some noise. (Edit)- Looking for $ ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's what it looks like on the car: ![]()

OK, I've had a couple people PM me to ask how loud it really is. I hope I haven't given the impression it's megaphone loud. It's not. It's just not as quiet as the M&K mufflers with dual outlet tips out the sides. Probably comparable to the factory dual out sport muffler. In fact the reason I'm not running it anymore is that it's too quiet for racing. I haven't been able to hear the sound of my exhaust over those of the 993s and M3s I race against in NASA.
