interesting - That is the exact part that started me down my path - I always thought it was an early Seine - cool to see the real paperwork to fill in the blanks

Nice piece. Had one on my racecar. Only reason I changed it out for the Seine Gate Shift is because Sherwood's Gate Shift provides you with the tabbed plate that mounts on top of the shifter, as well as an additional shift lever tab, which allows the shifter spring-action to be captured in 1st & 2nd gear, just like the factory Porsche shifter does it for 5th and reverse.

Just tellin' it like it is. Your product is the best 915 shifter modification available IMO because it retains the same function as the factory shifter- when spring loaded, the shift gate must be captured. Otherwise, the shifter's spring action is pulling on the shift fork arrangement within the transmission, as it trys to return the shift fork to the 3/4 plane
