ids vs ida pricing guide line help needed

I hope this is the right place to ask this question

What is a typical price/value for nice used Weber IDA carbs pair made in Italy?

Same Question but IDS instead of IDA?

thanks to any who car to comment

do a search. lots of comparables have been sold here recently. to many variables in condition to give a reasonable number. I've bought IDA's at $600, and at $2000.

Thanks for responding, my question is, an IDA set and an IDS set sitting side by side in comparable condition, to me it is obvious that the IDS are more rare and should be worth more. The question is how much more?

In my experience, not as much as logic would dictate. Say +20-30%.

thanks

thanks techweenie, I value your opinion

I sold a set a while ago, near perfect. for about $500 more than a comparable set if IDA's. like techweenie says, not worth as much more than IDA's as you'd think.

I personally think they should be bringing 50-75% more, logically. If you look at the value of '67 and '68 S cars, it only makes sense.

Admittedly, little truly makes sense in the early Porsche market at the moment.

The problem is that they're only really worth paying significantly more for if you own a '67/'68S that's missing its original Webers & you happen to be looking at the same time as someone is selling ...
