Going to Europe
 

Hi!
I'm going to Germany for (OCT 4 thru 15 or so) Oktoberfest and Veterama(google it) with a buddy, about 10 days anybody going and wanna hook-up? Or anyone wanna join us fly to Frankfurt/Munich rent a car. I've made this trip many times...lots of fun. It will cost $3-4000. Keith 520-404-2875

Take a couple non-rusty early cars with you and flip them in Germany. You will have a totally free trip and money in your pocket when all is said and done!

Make sure you hit the Octoberfest the minute you step off the plane. On or about October 5th it ends!

Veterama
 

Veterama is great. I used to go every year when I lived there. Every German-oriented gearhead should make the pilgrimage once in their life. Wish I could go with.

Do not rent a car. Use "Die Bahn ". Been doing it for years. Cheaper and faster.

the train
 

I realize that that is what most people do, but I've always gotten a car. The rental is cheap $150-200 per week, but of course, the fuel is spendy! Parking can be an issue also. But total freedom! Keith
