Lonewolf, are you sure JB?
Lonewolf (from BC) went out of his way to help me with some battery issues that I was having on my SC last year....a real stand up pelican in my mind! FWIW! And to the OP, I've only heard good things about duffer! I was going to buy some parts from him last year but he did some research for me and informed me that his parts wouldn't be what I was looking for so best not to go forward with the transaction.

As a customer of Duffer (Jim), I've been 100% satisfied, but Gilbert911's comment should not be ignored.

I bought a radio off him and it took well over a month to receive it despite sending emails. The radio was as described when it arrived eventually. I think he's just very slow at sending stuff.

I had approx. 2.5 transactions with him. on another forum, but just the same. fortunately my S**T list is a short one, but he's definitely on it.
Couldn't be happier for all those that have been done right by him.

Good to hear some of you have had good transactions with him. For me he never sent anything and I got some funds back via PayPal. Unfortunately partial payment was sent as personal so no PayPal cover. He still owns me over $200 or set of 915 gears. This is long ago already and I have 6 personal messages not read by him. If you want to hear more surely I can share.
All other members here have been nice and I have bought quite many parts.

Thumbs up on Duffer. He's for real as I have picked up parts from him in person.

This is interesting. I read this the day it was posted and dismissed the OPs complaint due to Duffers response coupled with the fact that I've had a positive buying experience with him n the past.
Seems the OP's not alone here though. I'd like to think these are easily explained misunderstandings but I'm not seeing any explanations. "As a customer of Duffer (Jim), I've been 100% satisfied, but Gilbert911's comment should not be ignored." Good point here by techweenie. Personally, I won't buy from him again unless Gilbert911 , Samujr and Ty901's are resolved here for all of us to see.

This was also my experience. I needed the part to complete a much larger sale and so it felt like forever but when the part did come, I was not disappointed.

Years ago I was the victim of a major (thousands) fraud by a since-banned Pelicanhead and when I posted my experience, I got a lot of useless 'my [long ago] deal went okay' responses.
If we are the community we say we are, then we need to step up on behalf of our fellow community members. Duffer?
