Agreed. Not sure why people erase the asking prices...it is nice to know for future reference.

BTW, congrats to the buyer and seller

The reason why I erase the asking price is to keep the price privacy for the buyer. Feel free to PM me if you want to know the price for future reference.

How would we know who bought them, you could have received a PM, email or whatever. One of the major values of this forum is for reference. With condition and prices all over the place an accessible place like this helps everyone, especially those who choose not to ask "what's this worth" when it could be looked up. It's your sale but I disagree with any price deleting after the fact.

Most of my buyers would like to be keep anonymous and the price sold to them. Respect is one of my major values to this forum and pelican members. I agree with you with prices being all over the places but I'm here to help. Just ask. If my buyers agreed to leave the listing price on, I will. In the end, respect between buyer and seller is one of my major values.

Thumbs down My two cents on removing the selling price.

I disagreed with removing the posting price that the item is offered at in the original post.
If the purchaser wants to keep the purchase and price private, then you have the PM option which keeps everyone's eye's from seeing the offer, selling price and any details transaction. The advertised price listed as required to use the forum can be helpful to those looking for a like item or thinking of selling an item. So to leave the posted advertised price listed doesn't effect the seller or the purchaser, since the sale could have be completed offline for whatever price the seller and purchaser agreed upon. And I bet that if the price is low everyone will comment on the deal he got; or if it's high you will have a least two guys include prices and sites listing the item for less. Suggesting that you review your asking price.

I think that all you need to change is that the item is SOLD; I'm glad it sold and I hope you received your asking price>and get your money!
Just my two cents!
