FS: B&B Headers and Custom Center Exit Muffler

For sale is a set of 1 3/4" B&B headers in very good condition. I have sanded them down and ceramic coated them myself in textured black. They are ready to be installed and are a very nice set. Price is $600 + shipping

Also for sale is a custom center exit muffler made out of two flowmaster mufflers. It is very loud and has also been cleaned up and ceramic coated. The only notable imperfection aside from normal wear is a scrape on the bottom of the tip. Price is $200 + shipping.

Bolts are included with Muffler!

The gaskets and bolts are brand new and were only on the car for 10 miles or so. I changed to SSI's and a Dansk as I wanted heat.

Its probably just as loud as the one I have but I would like to hear a vid or sound clip if you happen to have one?

Thanks

Erik

can this use on a 3.2 or 3.0 motor?

RarlyL8 04-30-2014 08:07 PM

Bet you picked up a ton of torque going from 1.75" to 1.5" primaries!

Onefastman 05-01-2014 02:37 AM

Eric,

I do not have a clip. I only had them on for a few miles and didn't think of it.

Also, yes they can be used on a 3.2 as that is what it came off of. I believe the 3.0 cars require 'thin flange' ends which these are not.

will flanges line up with 3.6L c2?

ALEX P 05-10-2014 01:12 AM

I don't suppose you have the approximate measurement between the centre of the flanges where the headers meet the muffler?

Onefastman 05-10-2014 04:08 AM

I was told that the 1 3/4" pipe are originally purposes for a 3.6l car but would also work with a 3.2l car. According to their site this is the case as well.

I believe that size is standard. I am not sure what it is though.

The B&B has a different spread than stock or SSI. I can measure mine or you could just measure the distance from muffler flange to muffler flange.

These are nice headers.

One note on the 3.6 fitment I think the 993 3.6 had the exhaust studs in a different orientation but the 964 3.6s were the same. Not 100% sure though.

Exactly that so I wanted to check the width to see if I could modify a muffler to suit as the setup shown is a bit loud for me!!
If you could just stick a tape measure across that would be great. Doesn't have to be super accurate, just a rough measurement.

I think the 993 are set at 90 degrees compared to 964 but do have a 4-stud pattern so the studs could be swapped.

I will take a measurement on Monday.

ALEX P 05-12-2014 04:23 AM

Congrats on the sale - Any chance you could measure them before sending out so if another set of B&B's turn up I'll know if they're any good or not?
