Helion 911 sunroof delete panels FS

Hello fellow Pelicans,
After a couple weeks of tool development and making parts, We have released our CF sunroof delete panel.

This is a full carbon fiber sunroof panel with flanges that is designed to be bonded in from below.

The development thread and pics are here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/956256-helion-911-sunroof-panel-development.html

The finished parts weigh ~2.2lbs vs. 12 for the stock steel panel.

They are supplied in polished clear gel-coat and would need a typical automotive clear sprayed post install should someone want to run the clear carbon however I assume most will bond and blend and paint.
We have parts in stock and are continuing to lay up more on a regular basis.

Pricing is $275 exclusive of shipping.

Thanks for viewing,

Thanks again,

How about making one that could actually replace the metal roof panel, so you could have a working S/R with a C/F panel?

We looked into that when this project first took off.

The stock panel is a two-piece panel with a variety of mounting hardware, a couple of springs, etc.
The OE production process is that both halves get stamped individually, spotwelded together and hardware installed.
Monumental task to replicate in composite. It certainly could be done however the price of admission for tooling alone could never be recovered. Therefore, we decided to make skins for those interested in deleting a sunroof without replacing an entire roof.

Thank you,

Instead of filling and painting, this piece would work by just removing all of the sunroof, mechanism (and the weight that goes along with all that). Just bond todd's part it in place, seal around the perimeter - and it is reversible, too. What a great product. Looks cool, too. Nice work toddc!

Quick bump,
Helion 911 sunroof delete panels in carbon fiber are still available in both and the tool is open and ready to go.

In keeping with our new business model, orders are taken on a deposit basis rather than fully pre-paid. Production time on delete panels is 1 week.
Delete panel pricing is $275 in clear gelcoat (meaning you paint or clear) and $350 in PPG clear coat for those wanting to bond in and go.
Pricing includes shipping in the CONUS via fedex ground.

Thanks for viewing,
