NOS Talbot Berlin Rectangle Mirrors

Again, does anyone know if these Talbot mirrors fit in the existing mirror holes already in the doors? or not? Thanks

No , and the base shape is skinner so they won't cover the faded paint either, you would have to drill a second hole

Found this online.
If this is true for these mirrors, you'll need 3 holes about 1.18" apart.
I believe the "two" holes for the factory Porsche mirror are about 1.5-2" apart, so they may or may not be a "bolt on" process.
If body work is required for the Talbots, that takes a lot of people out of the equation....like me.

thanks - these mirrors attach with the Talbot J-hook and require 2 holes, not 3.

That looks to be Rob's car, and yes he has had those mirrors on it since he completed the car. I also have a brand new set in the original box that have never be installed. Maybe one day I will find a build to use them; or maybe a friends project. But correct or not, these are some of the most beautiful mirrors you will every mount on a early car!
