Harry, What is the input signal for this? Electric from a late 915, mechanical from early 915? Trying to figure out how I would install into a car.

I have been looking at older Halda systems and this would be a good replacement if I can figure out how to make it work. No poseur parts for me.

Thanks

I believe you need this sensor, i havent been able to confirm this is the right size. I bought it to install, and have decided to take a step back and not go too far off the deepend with rally mods.

https://www.brantz.co.uk/product-page/brantz-european-gearbox-sensor

here is the manual

Thanks Jamie! Hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

i might not be able to answer them but can help point in the right direction. This is a popular meter used in vintage rallying and i know they have been used in porsche's before.
