Question Heater Cable

I am replacing a missing heater cable and would like to know the path that I must follow under the car. No old one to see where it goes. I have removed the lever and know that the cable goes into the lower hole on the lever. I have threaded the cable into the tubes without crossing and now they are exiting into the undercarriage. What next? I see a tube on each side looks like they are coming from the heater box which has a fitting that looks like it will accept the wire. Do I then continue to use the same wire to the heater control box that also has a fitting for the wire? Does this wire move the flapper box flaps also?

Hello

You need the plastictubes between body and flaps.
