Hello all

In my utter desperation to find exterior mirrors (in the England they're as rare as rocking horse ****) has anyone attempted to use MGB mirrors (not rare at all) as they look kind of similar though I could be very wrong as I have yet to come across a 914 in England with the correct mirrors.

The reason simply being that given the scarcity of parts in England the shipping from the US is begining to hurt (the list is long) and wife is starting to get suspicious (even with me applying the basic formula of divide by two and less 10%)

Since the U.S. vendors (like, Pelican Parts, our fine host) are too expensive because of shipping, have you tried sources in Germany? Mittelmotor has many 914 parts.
