rear spoiler

Yell-o,
So far so good on the bodywork so far (gonna prep it all for primer shoot on Saturday). Before I shoot the color, I want to pre-fit everything, including the spoiler (the 916 copy). Question is, how far from the rear lip of the trunklid does it mount? I've seen dozens of pix, but it seems that it varies quite a bit. Does anyone know the correct position?
Oh yeah, and how DO you mount it? There's no hardware - I was gonna drill 3 or 4 holes in the soiler bottom, and epoxy in some sort of stud or bolt. Whaddyadink?

There is no correct position--there were no rear spoilers on the 916s or 914-6 GTs. Therefore the "correct" position is "wherever it looks good to your eye."
