working on my porsche
I have a 1972 Porsche 914 with a 1.7 I am removing the engine to get some body work and paint done it has 38.000 miles on engine I was wondering what else would you recommend I do while its out and can work on it easily thanks for any input

I’m restoring mine as well, engine out and suspension removed. Check for rust where the clutch tube exits the tunnel.

I would clean, clean, clean. Engine compartment, wheel wells, underside, inside under floor mats. Checking for rust as you go. All before sending off for paint, you may need a little body work first.
