gasoline additives
I've been using a lead substitute since buying my '73 last fall. The previous owner had a bottle that I've been finishing up.
Is this what to do in lead free petro? I always felt this is what did in my previous '73. Marcus |

No need for it. VWs have been made with the "right stuff" to live with unleaded gas since before the 914 was even a design on paper. Put in the unleaded and don't sweat it. Use at least 87 octane--I was surprised to find 85 available in CO last time I was there...
