rattle in rear, right targa top

clip is no holding down tight enough, I looked at it and it seemed to me to not be adjustable, or am I missing the adjustment?

An underwhelming response.

I've been playing with mine after finding one of the "desk pads" missing. They go under your silent block.

Here's the best link I've found anywhere that gets into this:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-914-914-6-technical-forum/85280-how-can-i-adjust-tightness-targa-top-fitting.html

Desk pad Part # 91456331710. They are NLA but can be easily fabricated. You may find some on eBay too.
The Silent Block #91456303319 is being reproduced and the latching mechanisms can be rebuilt with parts from a 914 specific vendor.

Discussed a lot more on 914World, but it is down right now... 914 Rubber has parts for this.

OK, you can also try site:914world.com targa bracket or something like that. I'll track back when I find it.

not a problem at all to tighten it up. If you cannot slide the snubber inward to tighten it up then just buy a new one. totally available and in stock at your favorite 914 parts supplier

It's basically a hook pulling down on a peg. What I did is to put some tygon tubing on the peg and that took up the slack.

I bought a set of rear latches rebuilt = awesome. Very nice to have a good starting point. Noticed on my last drive I'm getting a little squeaking from rear/pass corner. I've had good luck putting a little thin tube over the peg as well.

I did this.with help: withe the latch still mounted in the targa bar, we bent the hook part using a C clamp. Only need to bend the hook a 1/4”
