show us a pictue of your car, it helps to identify which looks better, personally i like the one in tweeks, i think that looks best on all 914's, except tweeks is expensive so look for other places, i'd list some but i havent been looking just yet.

I just went to his gallery page to get this. I prefer the Limited Edition spoiler especially on the later cars. It fits really nicely with the rubber bumpers. PP sells them....Geoff

I use the LE replica spoiler on my 72 and have found that it provides greater stability at speeds over, lets say 85-90mph, but i dont stop there. This is compared to stock valance.

It also has ground clearance if your car isnt lowered too much. (I seem to remember a post about repairing an airdam like this one)

If you ask me, and I think you did, most of the other dams/spoilers look too racey/ricey for a street 914.

Good hunting

I have this one:
http://www.***********.com/action.lasso?-database=Items%20database&-layout=web&-response=record_detail.lasso&-logicalOp=or&-recordID=48096&-search

It may take time to load. This spoiler has air ducts to cool the brakes and it is urethane that is highly flexible so you don't have to worry about breaking it.

I also like the 916 fron bumper and spoiler combo. It's a sharp piece.
Good luck on the search.

Name of item:
UREFLEX FRONT SPOILER; 914

Description Of Product:
This spoiler is so flexible that if you hit a curb at 100 MPH, your spoiler would still be perfect, but you would be dead and your 914 would be totalled!

Woah!, i don't know if this fits 75-76's though and i've had very bad experience with *********** but if i had to id be willing to go through them again, tweeks DOES NOT sell a 75-75 spoiler, hmmmmmmmm

the 916 style spoiler is very tough....not that I have ever hit a parking stop with it or anything but if I ever had, I am sure it would push the front end right over it without cracking. two guys helped me pick up the car to back off the concrete bar. This spoiler also developes a good high presure area in the center for an oil cooler. If you do not have driving lights you can use these holes for brake cooling

Here is a pic of the orginal LE spoiler on a LE or GT 914. I can't say I like the other makes of spoilers that look cheesy.

Porsche Crest "Special Edition"

I think the "special edition" one I've got (copy of LE) looks best because the inset middle portion lines up with the bumper grills. The others seem overly agressive unless you've got a really tricked out car.

I gotta go with the LE/SE since they came with the car. I also like the standard one as well.

yes, but they are completely painted vs just the centers on the US LE's.

Here is mine, yes I know I have ugly wheels and tires, I pick my Fuchs up from the powder coat shop today! I have no idea who makes this spoiler, I got it in a deal.

1bad914,

Your spoiler can be bought new from Performance Parts for $135. I bought one years ago for $80 during one of their 20% off sales. Have never mounted, but I still intend to give it a try sometime.
