Impromptu gathering of Pelicans

Since it was Monterey Car Week, a number of Pelicans gathered in nearby (-ish) Pacifica for an impromptu gathering.

This was just off Rockaway Beach (cue the Ramones song!) where my wife and I were watching from the shore for whales.
