tire sizes with stock fenders

I'm interested in people's experience fitting different tire sizes under the stock (non-flared)fenders.

I've got 15x6 (5-bolt) fuchs wheels, and would like to use Kumhos, A032, or BFG R-1. I'm thinking 205-50/15 with rolled fender lips? 205-60/15 is too tall.

Also interested in people's experience using 5-bolt 16x6 front 16x7 rear. I've seen it, but I don't know quite how to make it work or what tire sizes were used. I understand that there's a 944 Turbo 16x7 with an offset different from what the 911 used.

On a previous (4-bolt) 914, I think I got 195-50-15 (Yoko 008-RS) in there. It was a long time ago, and my memory isn't that good.

(Obviously, I'm new here. The Pelican guy on the phone referred me to this board.)

Too tall, because shorter tires are a lot easier to do than changing the ring gear - especially if you're constrained by class rules that allow a variety of legal tires, but no gearing changes.
