Anyone own a Porsche 212?
Ski-Bob? Has anyone heard of these? About the size of a suitcase, collapsable skis, and handlebars. You put these small rudders on your feet in an attempt to awkwardly "glide" through the snow only to have to drag the whole ridicuous mess back up the hill to put the pieces back in your trunk and wonder why you even did this in the first place.
The guy I bought my 914 from had a barn full of them - says in the early 70's it was some sort of promotion. You got one (hooray!) whenever you bought some model Porsche. Being a collector of useless items, I grabbed a bunch and pieced together 2 complete ones. Me - "Yeah, I got me Porsche, it's blue" Friend - "Yeah, whatever" Me, turning on light in garage - "See, cool, huh?" Friend - "Bwaa-haa-haa!.......... Geek" Then I got my 914: Me - "Yeah, I got me Porsche, it's blue" Friend - "Yeah, whatever" Me, turning on light in garage - "See, cool, huh?" Friend - "Bwaa-haa-haa - Geek" So now I actually own 3 Porsches. I did couple searches and couldn't come up with anything. Jef |
