1969 - 2.0 911T vs. 2.0 911E
I believe that that the 914/6 came with a 1969 911T 2.0 engine. I recently saw a very nice, complete, rebuilt 1969 911"E" 2.0 for sale.
Anyone know the difference between the T & E codes on this engine? |

69E 140/6500 (hp/rpm)
69T 110/5800 (hp/rpm) The E is Eingespritzt (injected; ger.) the T is Touring. The E is a much better engine, for a lot of reasons. M

Right - the 'T' is a bit anemic...

I heard you can remember the T is the lowest power by thinking "Timid". Hmmm... with that, my 1.8 must be a 1.8T.
