Dry air filter housing
I want to replace the oil filled air filter housing on my 72 with the dry style used on later years. Are there only certain years that will fit or will any of them work?
Thanks |

I believe the year is '73 and it was fitted to the 1.7 engine. Plastic housing with paper element. Looks like the oil bath type. I may have one - I'll have to look.

Thanks for the information Ron. It would be great if you have one that you are willing to sell.

Try this post and look at azkiwi conversion to dry filter media. He used some parts from other cars and it looks very nice IMO.
If the link doesn't work, try searching for "rain hat" and that should get you there. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?threadid=85816&highlight=rain+hat[/URL] |
