'75 steering wheel play
I took the s. wheel off for a look and found what used to be a nylon bushing of some sort. It is round with ridges and was behind the steering wheel. Is this perhaps the only problem? (it was in terrible condition) Thanks in advance for the help. Pete

The problem with my steering wheel play was under the dash in the U joint area. There are 2 bolts with nuts that came loose. Once I tightend these there was no more play. If you move the steering wheel from side to side in just the area of the play you should be able to hear the joints under there if they are sloppy.
Easy fix! bruce

Look on Pelican and search this part. It's an easy job. I think there's a tech article on it as well.

how old is the wheel? I had an old Nardi on mine and the spines on the wheel were just plain wore out. I ordered the ring and also got a new Dino wheel. I put the Dino on and it was all I needed.
