Unstoppable oil leak?

I have a 73 2.0. Someone has overtightened the oil strainer cover and now there is a huge leak. I removed the case through bolt that holds the oil baffle up in place and it was bent. I was able to install a new bolt through the oil baffle into the case and tightened it to factory specs. I also installed new oil sump cover gaskets and checked the flatnes of the sump cover plate. All of this helped some but still a pretty heavy leak. Just curious would installing an aftermarket deep sump cover solve or help? Any advice or experience? Thanks

If your sump cover plate is flat, then the problem may be the case itself. If you want to install a deep sump then fine do so but that won't solve the problem if the case is warped.

I suggest taking the sump plate off again, cleaning the area completely. Check the case for flatness. Double check the sump plate for flatness. Install the sump plate with a new gasket. Tighted the sump bolts with a torque wrench. Then start the engine. If you find anything is not flat, then replace it. If you find that the case is warped, then you are looking at a rebuild.
