I need a new or used throtle body know anyone who has one....its for a 1974,914 1.8.

Oh come on now... I promised myself when I put this BBS up that I wouldn't censor anything on the board, but isn't it a little strange to recommend Automobile Atlanta on our BBS when we have plenty of these in stock?

Having had to deal with George and his team in Atlanta over the past six years, I would suggest Pelican Parts. George knows alot about Porsches, but when you are on a time and financial budget, try these guys!

If the problem with the throttle body is related to a worn shaft bushing, I saw something that may help. A friend has a device made for rebushing GM carbs (which apparently use the same shaft diameter as the 2.0 litre type 4). The device reams out the existing hole to fit a replacement bushing. The new bushing is simply pressed in. I'll let you know if it works after I try it. (keep those throttle bodies in stock Wayne, I may need one yet).
