Broken off Bleeder Nipple ??
Well, I'm still working on those rear calipers. I've got them both all torn down. But I had one subborn nipple. Rusted in there pretty bad. I've been a good boy, soaked her a couple days with PB Blaster. Needless to say the head is rounded off from PO's.
So I started with a small pair of Vice Grips. No Go. Went to the next size. Opps. Snapped to clean off flush with the casting. Tryed the E-Z out. Doesn't budge it. I didn't twist too hard. I didn't want to snap it off, too. BTDT before. What is next ??? It is a 2 nipple caliper. So its no a total lost cause. But I'd hate to fight an air bubble to get a hard pedal.

Heat and some sharp blows with a punch. Keep trying the easyout and keep adding the Blaster. It will give up. Also, you can get a reverse easyout to go back and forth. Drill out at last resort. You'll probably ruin the caliper if you do unless you know what you are doing with a drill press. Good luck, you can do it.

heat. I had that same situation. heat the capiler body around if for 10 or fifteen minutes with a propane torch, then try the easy out. hopefully it'll fall right out. Well, not fall out, but hopefully it will ease out.

That's what I hoped the answer would be. I didn't know if the torch was ok on the caliper. I'll use MAPP only, first. If that doesn't work I'l go to MAPP/O mix.
On we go. I'll let you know.
