Please do! Not having to refer back to the legend over and over again will make it less difficult to read the diagrams!

Thanks Guy for taking the time to do this. Things like this make this sickness we have easier to deal with.

I'm glad we have a big ass color plotter at work too.

No, that bit of the circuitry is in the diagram. Check E19, the "parking light switch". That's a part of the turn signal lever mechanism. I admit, it's unusual that they didn't connect it to the rest of the turn signal switch (E3), but that circuit is how the side markers come on when you turn the turn signal on with the key off.

What, only did the 74?? What if others have different years?? They will be lost. Just kidding, this will come in handy on my 74 Chalon. It might even help out a little with my 72,3,4,5,6 car as well. It's a little bit of every year I think. I call it the mutt.

Where do you work at? An engieering firm? One of my clients has several very large plotters. One of them will do about 6 feet wide.

We're Landscape Architects. The plotters aren't quite 6', but printing the color diagrams (don't tell) from 8 1/2" x11" to 36" x 48" color makes a huge reading improvement!

How's the 2270?

Guy,

Do you have the files in a PDF format with all three sheets for each drawing on one page? That'd make two files that might be easier to align and print. If you'd like you can send the originals to me and I can have them made up for you. My wife is a graphics artist and has a ton of graphics tools at her disposal.

Just my 2c.

Guy,

I can handle the big files (fat pipe DSL at my house) if you want to send the raw ones. I'll take a swing at it and can send them back to you for uploading on your site unless you're hamstrung with a dial-up connection.

Thanks for the great info. As Jim says, this is a great help.

The 2270 is still in pieces on the table. Waiting for parts still. If they come today, I may take the rest of the day off and try to get it all together. With any luck, I can have it all back together for this weekend at D&G's. You going??

Guy,

Not bad, took about a minute to download. I'll speak with the wife to see which way might work best for viewing/downloading. She's a wiz with this stuff.

These are just TOO VALUABLE! Put 'em on the electicral diagrams page! Now! Helping me complete my lighting mods and generally demystified the spaghetti system. Not identical to my 73, but really close, and usually using the same color wires to the different components! Thanks a bucketfull!

Post-it notes in your Haynes manual also work OK.

I put the pieces together, cut the legend into smaller pieces and placed them at the bottom so the diagram could be larger, printed on 11x17 and looks great. Thinking of laminating it to make a placemats so I can check out the wiring while I eat.

check to see if G8 on track 53 is an oil temp sender instead of an oil pressure sender

I know, bringing up a really old thread here. I got pointed this way from the 914club.com.

I am working out my wire demons now. The link to your PDF files no longer is active. If you still have them, I'd love to get a copy of those files.
