High performance ignition

I'd like to upgrade my ignition to some sort of high output unit. I'm using a 009 distributor and don't know if I should eliminate the points. Any help on picking out a unit and eliminating points would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently running an MSD unit with the pointless ignition setup on a 009. The car is a 2.0L, but has Dellorto carbs. I use NGK plugs with the gap a set bigger the stock. The setup works well in that I have had no problems and I seriously autocross the car.

Points suck. Get rid of them! The points in a 914 seem to bounce a lot a high RPMs, which changes your dwell during operation. If you want a performance ignition, start by losing the points.
