Targa seals

I recently purchased 2 Targa seals , the main one which goes across the top of the windscreen and down both sides and another one which is referred to as the lower seal, part No. 914-563-319-10. This one is giving me a real headache in that no one seems know just where it fits. There is conflicting advice some say that it fits below the main one and helps seal the Targa roof whilst Pelican say it goes on the Targa roof itself.

Having tried, unsuccessfully to fit it in both places can someone in here please give me some first hand information as to where it should be fitted and details as to which way up and which way round it fits?

The seal that you show in the picture goes on the lower lip of the top of the windshield frame. The cut our section faces the front of the car. I would suggest you install this seal before you install the long one that goes down both sides of the windshield frame. However, if you already installed the longer one, this shorter seal can still be installed successfully. When installed the front lip on the targa roof basically sits on top of this seal.

At last someone who knows what they are talking about. Just fiited the seal as you instructed now roof fits perfectly. Can't belief that Pelican state that it goes on the Targa roof itself.
