More South of the Boarder fun !?!

It's time. Time to start planning the next Baja run....

A Saturday in March...

Run down Lyon's Valley Road - cross the boarder at Tecete, then take old Highway 2 to Mexicali, through the mountains.

Suggestions for a date? What weekends have Auto-x events to avoid? Who can get their cars ready by then?

All welcome!

Even you Miles

Jason - No problem - bring what ya got, we ain't fussy!

I guess it will need to be March 6th/7th, to avoid the AX issues. That ain't much time to get the blond running!

Hell, Noel's Jeep is faster than anything you can put together

The only way Mike is gonna wipe butts is with TP.

"South of the border, down Mexico way. If the Federales. catch me, it's where I'm gonna stay. 'Cause they're gonna make me pay and I ain't got no dinero anyway."

We could always use a "cracker" as bait.

Hey Mike, you can borrow my super-fast Ghia that I'm tryin to sell. http://www.rccauto.com/ghia/ghia.htm (shameless plug) You won't have to work on it on the side of the road . And if I'm real lucky, someone in Mexico may steal it.

I will try to make it for this one. Still need to fix the oil leak and some other issues but for the most part, the car is ready. Even got someone to take with me this time. I think. I will be at the Mazda thing on the 13th also. That just sounded like too much fun. El Toro Marine base, first thing in the morning. Time to test out the new Mazda's.

I got a request to "stick" this, but I can't find a definite date in the thread??

If this is a definite go, please post a new topic with the date listed and I'll make sure it gets "stuck" to the top of the listing. (Won't be able to do that until Monday most likely, though--I'm away from the computer all weekend.)
