Mid-range miss finally gone
Sometimes it's a simple thing...
I have been trying to diagnose a persistent mid-range RPM miss in my 2.0 for months now. On a hunch I finally replaced the vacuum line to the vacuum advance pot (stock distributor) and my miss is now gone. My guess is the leaky vacuum line prevented the distributor from advancing properly in that range, causing the annoying miss. Does that sound plausible? |

Yes and sticking advance weights can do the same thing.
