Looking for vacuum hose routing for non EGR 1.8L

My buddy has a vacuum hose coming off the distributor vacuum advance that doesn't attach to anything. We've looked all over and can't find what it should attach to. It's about 8" long and I believe 4mm in diameter. I've found a routing diagram for an EGR equipped 1.8L, but not for a non EGR equipped vehicle. Any diagram or actual engine photo would be appreciated.

Thanks

If it's coming off of the advance fitting on the distributor, it goes to one of two places.

If the throttle body has two fittings on it, the hose goes to one of them. The EGR 1.8 diagram shows which one, though there is another line T'd into it. If the throttle body has only one fitting, then the advance line goes to nowhere. Run it down unerneath the manifold so that it looks tidy. Don't plug it, as that might interfere with the workings of the vacuum retard.

Thanks Dave! It just seemed odd to have a hose that went nowhere. It runs fine and we won't mess with the hose then.
