Updated Look
I was bored so I decided to do some modifications. What do you think?

I like the bottom one!
|
Of the two, I like the top one--but I'm not real enamored of either one, frankly...

Yo man, get out of my head! That is the look that I am going for. I dont know where to get the front bumper though. I have 17" instead of the 18" wheels, and I will have subtle flares. I like the top one. I'm not much into logo-mania.

Perhaps this is more so what Andrew is looking for. It at least has the right front spoiler.

You left out the purple neon under the rockers, and
the lighted windshield washer nozzles. Mark S. '70 914-6 |
Hey Phil,
What fron bumper are you using/where did you get it. I am looking for one, but cant seem to find what I want. THX |
Mike,
The orange car and picture are not mine. I have no idea where that front bumper/spoiler comes from. Sorry, Phil |
Phil, I meant the red one...did you? Is the red one stock?
|
|
Mike,
The red car has stock early painted bumpers. Phil |
Ahh, the paint threw me off. I think I will get the stock looking fiberglass one.
thanks |
Try Fiberwerks!
|
rennspd is cheaper/just as good
|
That orange car is, I believe, the Renegade Hybrids "shop" car. If you talk to them, they can probably tell you where it came from.

The red car is a 914-6 GT from the 914-6 GT resource page. I've had that car on my my desktop since Pam got Hep-C.
|
the orange car is Renegades car. It is currently for sale. The front bumper is called IMSA style. Renegade and AA sell them. from teh front it looks chopped off snd has a large-ish frontal surface
|
I always thought the IMSA bumper looked great for an aftermarket look, and i really dig the rounded top Andrew, but whats with the rims... I don't think '914ers' and 'Ballers' are a species yet, am i wrong?
|
one lap in a 917, if you drove it, just might kill ya. Most drivers of teh time felt the car was unsafe. Donahue and Elford were nuts. 1700 hp in a 1700 lbs car. OK, Im ready to die.
