Sold my baby on Ebay
Well, as some of you already know, I put the Yellow teener up for auction on Ebay the beginning of the week and it sold on Wednesday. A guy from Washington bought it and is coming down to pick it up and drive it back. I will miss it but I need to clear some things out and get to work on my Chalon V-8 car. I needed the money to do the Chalon too. I have not had time to work on it and the Chalon at the same time. So I decided to sell it and move on to the Chalon. I am not sure if I will have anything to drive this year for any of the events but there is a possibility of picking up another one that already has a V-8 in it. It was done by Rod Simpson himself and has a BAR sticker on it. I will be going out next weekend to take a look at the car and see if I can swing it. From what I understand, it has been parked for about 6 years in the low desert. What do you all think I will need to do to it to make it road worthy? From what I hear it looks like he parked it out there last week (No rust, clean body all stock looking etc.). I am sure the braks will need to be done and of course drain and flush all fluids. What else do you think I may have to do to it? Any thoughts?

You have an ebay feedback score of 356 ... maybe it's a sign.

And most of that feedback was from buying 914 parts! Most of which went into this car. I hate to add it all up. I know it is over 8k just in the parts.

for that low price let the new owner worry about any issues the car has. a couple of weekends ago 6 914 owners did a blitz on a car that drove from the seattle area to mississippi. a new washington owner, could you direct him to the "other place" also?

PB blast the crap out of the cylinders and let it sit for a couple of days. Go back and hit it again and wait another couple. You then should be safe enough to crank it over. If it cranks strong with a good battery, then change the oil and zoom zoom
