km speedo??

Does anybody have seen speedo indicate with kilo-meter/hour insted of mile/hour??
I asked the guy who lives in Canada, however he couldn't find it in Canada. He found it on the auction site.
If there is a speedo with "km", where can I find it? Does anyone have it?

P.S. Thank you for all the people who responsed my old post about "need carb.". I really appreciate it.

For what it's worth, Canadian speedos started being metric in the mid to late seventies. I'm pretty sure that even the last 1976 914s would have been imported with mph speedos.

I have a friend with a European-spec 914-6. It has the KM/H speedo.

The only suggestions I have are: 1) talk to Pelican, they may be able to order a new one or find a used one. 2) ask around all of the used parts places if Pelican doesn't come through. These include (in my area) EASY, PartsHeaven, and High Performance House. There are other wreckers that advertise nationally (Aase, Okla Foreign, etc.). Let your phone do the walking...

Another way to do it have it rebuilt at North Hollywood Speedometer. They will reface and set it to KPH and even adjust to the current size if your tires.

If you have a spare, send it in and then replace it when it is finished.
