Radiator Install
 

Here is a picture of the radiator in the car. It is not installed yet as I am just doing the final fitting. The shroud is made of aluminum and it fits pretty tight around the radiator with no gaps. Should I seal it around the radiator with silicone also? Or does it need to be that air tight? There are 3 fans 2 pullers and one pusher and the front opening is 4X27. I was told that 4X20 is all that is needed. I am also making a channel from the front spoiler to the body to direct the air into the radiator. Or do you think that the air will just find its way in as I drive? Would I be better off with the channel? There is about 12" or so between the spoiler and the radiator opening on the body. seaal it up, per RSH and Renegade. they recomend weather strip tape

I'm going to seal my air inlet passage up as tight as possible and am also planning to fabricate air guides from the bumper/valence to the body opening. My idea was to try to make the main opening somewhat bigger than the body opening and maybe flair the edges somehow, but I'm not sure if it's necessary or overkill.

How about if you angle the radiator back at the top so the air will get to the top more. I believe the hottest water is at the top.
