44 idf's carburators
i have a 1975 914 with dual 44 idf's in it, my problem is that i'm getting fuel in my oil, i changed the fuel pump and added a pressure regulator, also recalibrated the carbs floats, but when i started the car and checked the oil after 10 minutes i found gas in oil again, can somebody help me out with this problem, i don't know if it could be timing, carbs, or engine, in need of some help......

I think webers only like 3 to 3.5 psi at the carb. Both sets of webers I have used recently had this pressure. If you have the Fuel Injection pump it will put out way to much pressure and the needle & seat on the carbs will not be able to shut off the fuel when the float goes up. Good luck.

I've had a piece of rubber from a fuel hose stick the needle valve open before. I completely filled one cylinder. Lucky I did not bend a valve.

Check if your fuel pump is pumping while the ignition key is turned on but the car is not running. That could flood the carbs if you had only the ignition switched on for some reason. I put a kill-switch on mine.
