What 914 brakes do I have?
Someone gave me some front brake calipers and I'm trying to figure out if they are early or late versions. How do I tell the difference? They both have double bleed screws. The markings on one say VW36 and ATE27 and the second says VW46 and ATE28.
TIA

Never mind. I found a post on PP that explains it. The early calipers have allen bolts going all the way thru them with nuts on the other side. And later calipers have standard bolts that are threaded into the other side. The other difference is the later ones have dual bleed screws.
The ones I have are late style which won't fit on my early car. Bummer.
