washing a care cover!

ok guys, i'm not good at laundry anyways and i need to wash my car cover. it says to wash it with mild soap and cold water and it also says do not rinse. i'm wondering how you guys wash your car covers, any ideas, i need to wash it before winter so i can get it covered.

thanks

I hand wash mine in the tub. I use woolite per the suggestion of a car cover manufacture. Than hang on the line to dry. Im to worried about it getting wrapped around the washer and ripping to put it in the machine.

Hopefully that helps.

Do not rinse? You read that right? Why would you want to leave soap in it?

Take it to the laundromat and put it in the BIG machine. It tumbles, so it won't harm cover or machine. I'd rinse it.
