Weeping washer jets ?
The original system works. But I'm loosing fluid pressure thru the washer jet. Once the system is charged up, the jets start to weep fluid.
What am I looking for ? Switch or check valves ?

Switch. The tire pressurizes the reservoir, which pressurizes the lines going to the switch. The ones from the switch to the nozzles are unpressurized; the nozzles have no valve in them.

Agree with DD's analysis, the switch is the problem - but I'd swear that the early (chrome top) jets have a valve in them. Anyone else know?

Thanks Dave, thats what I thought.
The check valves just keep the lines at the jets filled ?

It's possible they have a low-pressure valve just to make sure you don't get air into the lines. I was only thinking about a high-pressure type valve...

There's a little clear check valve under each of my jets on all my cars.
Connects to the rubber sleeve under the jet. Removable. Either chrome or plastic jets. My .02c.

Is there anything cleanable/repairable on the washer switch ?
Or is it a YES / NO situation ? I'm thinking of taking one out of my parts car. But a 30 year old part, I'm have my doubts on that one too.
