Bracket for heatexchangers
My car('74) has 1.8L body with 2.0L engine with S.S. heat exchanger and Bursch.
The bracket (up side down "V" shape) hole which connect to muffler is not line up. Is 2.0L and 1.8L shape different? Thank you. |

Yes, the 1.7/1.8 brackets and the 2.0 brackets are different. The 2.0 bracket goes lower than the 1.7/1.8 one. You will need to find or make the correct bracket.

Check GPR (German Parts Restoration)as I bought one from them about a month ago, they said they had about 7 in stock, for a 73-74 2.0l. Porsche does not make that part anymore so I hear. I checked with PP at that time but they were out of stock. Get anymore in Dave D?? Geoff

I have no idea. I telecommute for them, and live about six hours' drive away. (And that's with *light* traffic...) I don't usually have much of an idea of what's actually in stock.
