I have a 72' 1.7 with the progressive Weber on it. I really dont like it. I have some 34 ICT I got for my 64 VW that I never used. Would they work better on the 914 than the progressive. If so any body got manifolds for them.
Thanks, JJ |

Hey JJ
I had the same thing - 1.7 with dual ICTs - car ran great with 'em and got great mileage. Easy to tune too. I say use the lil' stinkers if you got them already. No helpy on the intakes from me though, but someone else probably has a set lying around....... Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?

Hey again - - - - -
Yeah, no choke, boooo. Oh well, I used to just pump the pedal a bit till it fired, then kept feathering it lightly 'till it idled on it's own - usually only a minute or two, then I let it idle for a few minutes before driving it. I never drove it in the winter though - only until october or so.

My opinion is that the progressive will be superior

nah, the progressives freeze and always run crappy. The 34 ICTs are alittle small but will work fine.
