Rocker Panels

I have heard we should clean out our 914's
rocker panels to prevent a build up of debris. Can someone tell me the proper way to remove the panels?
Thanks in advance (again).

Keith

Undo the three screws on the bottom side of the rocker panel. This should be enough to lift up the rocker panel and remove debris. If you have not done this previously, prepare yourself for broken screws and possible rust on the inner rocker panel. To completely remove the panel, there is one screw in the front wheel well, one in the rear wheel well, then drill out the rivets in the door threshold. Have fun.
