Would it be possible or advisable to replace FI on 1.8ltr with FI from 2.0ltr?I have both 1.8 has 1 bad injector.?

I've seen it done on a car by a PO who also ran the motor without oil, so I never saw it run.

I had a 2.0L system on a 1.7L with the 1.7L MPS and it ran O.K. but seemed to idle high, I think it was due to the hole in the 2.0L throttle body being too big.

I would think you would need to adjust a 2.0L MPS to work with the 1.8L I tried a 2.0L MPS on my 1.7L by mistake ans the engine ran like crap. Maybe a 1.7L MPS or a MPS from another car would work without adjustment. However if you don't adjust the MPS you risk running too lean or rich.

The D-Jet use different injectors and CHT sensor then the L-Jet, and there are going to be a wiring issues with the fuel pump but it should be easy.
