Question windshield trim

Are the left and right side peices supposed to be the same size? Bags are marked with Porsche part numbers for left and right, but they sure look the same. Does it matter which one goes on which side? I only want to clip these on once.
Is there a sequence for installing? Bottom first, then left, etc or doesn't it matter.
Thanks for any assistance.

None of the windshield trim pieces are interchangeable. The method of installation is; connect all of the windshield pieces together separately, off the car, Then position the trim over the windshield and hand press the assembled trim in place so that it snaps into all 19 of the new plastic hold down clips around the windshield. That's it.

It's never that easy though. My 914 windshield is mounted too low and with too much (too thick) of that buttuel tape stuff. I can't get the trim on. If your windshield is mounted properly and all of your clips are in decent shape, the trim should snap into place. It bends really easy so be careful.

Obviously, if the windshield is improperly installed, then all bets are off relative to trim installation.
