Front BMW caliper on the rear

I have run across an occasion entry about using the front 3 Series BMW caliper on the rear of a early 1972 914. The current config. of my project has 911 brakes and struts in the front and 5 bolt conversion, with 914-6 solid rotors in the rear. Excluding the park-brake issue (which may have a work around with the Wilwood park brake caliper, that mounts opposite of the hydraulic brake caliper), how does this work out and is any machining required to center the caliper. Thanks for the input.

Eric

I have the 320i calipers front and rear and the rears do not require any machining, at least for the 914-4 rotors. I currently have the small Wilwood mechanical calipers for parking brakes but I am having trouble with the pads and glue (one side is glued) disintigrating from the heat of racing?
