carpet undelayment
Anybody know what type of material was used under 914 carpet. if any? |

I've been through many 914's at the junkyard and never seen any carpet padding. My own 74 doesn't have any either. It's not a bad idea though....

My only hesitation with any type of carpet underlay is that if it gets wet, it will rot the floors in no time. This is a common problem even with the more "modern" cars.
