Gulf Coast get together - 12/27

We are going to make it easy.
I am hosting a get together at my house on the 27th. I just want to get the guys in the area and anyone in town to come see the redneck racer. Maybe help put flares on it.
Cook some burgers and dogs etc.
If you think you can come send me a PM I'll give you directions then.

Weather is gong to be Beautiful I promise.

Seriously nice day to drive 914's If you couldn't make it you really missed out on some fine car talk.
Barry has a really nice car, from looking at the before pictures the car is damn awesome.

Got to compare 2.0L D-jet to my hopped up Carbed 2.0L The verdict is Totally different car. D-jet is like a Turbine smooth power all the way to 5 grand or so. Carbs is more like a Smack in the back and nail your head to the head rest.
Never drove a stock suspended teener either. Very sure footed with a safe push (understeer) feeling. Unlike the racer which will step the tail out if without warning to the unsuspecting driver.
Man that red is Oh so clean and pretty. un-like my 4 shades of yellow and primered hammered fenders.


yea Barry we need to do another one of these get togethers with a bigger list of parts needed. Hope the new tow hook is never needed for real.

Had a great time,wish the was a road like yours nearer my house.To be sure I would rip down it every day(with a differant muffler of course).

Now i`m going to have to rebuild the v6 car! FASTER! FASTER!NEED MORE SPEED!
