WTB 912E rear heater blower
I just got my 912E, and I need to find a rear heater blower unit. One of the PO's removed it when installing the carb conversion.
Thanks, Rob

912 E are a one off car.....you CAN use 914 stuff as it is powered by a 2.0 Type IV motor....which is what the 914s used.....of course just to screw with ya...they used a different FI system.
Try a WTB in the classified area. BTW....if the PO has the FI system or you do....it's a pretty valuable set up. In California it needs the ORIGINAL system to pass smog......the 912 has some very unique parts.

Rob,
I have a heater blower that I removed from a 74 2 liter 914 that should work for you. PM me with your e-mail address and I'll shoot you over a picture or two. Tried to PM you but your mailbox is full. Gary

Rob,
Your mailbox still seems to be full and will not accept any PM's. Send me your e-mail address and I'll send you a couple of pictures of the heater blower I have available. I also have a couple lengths of heater hose that you may also need. Gary

I just went down the the garage and checked my 912 E (#265) and the blower has two outlets like a 914 BUT has a bigger electric moter. Since the motor is clamped to a cradle you would have to have the larger diameter motor to fit. Probably a 911 blower. When I got mine the blower electrical connections were burned up. I had to repair the blower switch as it had bent and was running continiously. The switch is on the heated lever (red handle) .
