Near as I can figure, those are 22.5 X 9.5 X 15 C3000.....which need a 10 inch wheel...per the Hoosier Site... in R25? 2 ply Formula Atlantic fronts? If this is the case, FA cars weigh about 1100 lbs so be careful with those.
Them flares are lookin' gud.

Damn it JP, Thanks for the info
Paul so what's the verdict? Chris Foley says this is what he runs on his car. his fenders are a little different than out GT flares. I cut as much of the lip off the flare as I dare and put two of them under the yellow rattle can. Actually look good. I'll do the other two tonight. Friday is apply the rivets. |

Joe,
I say get them babies mounted on the wheels and give them a try. I think they'll work. So you may have to trim or radius the wheel opening some, big f deal. You could take 3/4" off the radius and no one but us would be able to tell. JP is right, they are FA tires but when I spoke to the Hoosier rep, he said they would be OK for A/Xing. I lot of people use them because they are the softest 15" out there. They may just last longer for me as my car is lighter than yours. They are realitively cheap from where we got them so if you go through them in a season or less, move up to a harder compound next time. Race and learn.... P

I have been through 2 sets of R compounds in 14 months. with the 3rd set having 37 runs on them.
When we were all at Rob's place I took a close look at your V racers. I figured these were just your rollers and let it go. You don't actually run on them do you? Oh buddy these new slicks are going to have a steep learning curve. My 1st runs on the A3S04 Hoosiers was Damn I can go faster than that. next run .... Holy **** it still sticks. 3rd run tell my self hold it to the floor through the gate it will stick. 4th run nearly **** myself having a blast and going like hell and it did stick! Can't imagine what these tires will be like. Britt still want to make your car fast????? Have you been paying attention???? This motor will be up for sale some time this fall. Won't be free though. Funny I don't recall typing ***** anywhere. |
